Rose-Adélaïde Ducreux's Self Portrait With A Harp is also inside the Metropolitan Museum of Art. She painted in France in the late 1700s.

On of the finest examples of high bas relief sculpture is Auguste Rodin's The Gates of Hell, carved with images from Dante's Inferno. While the original bronze is in the Musée Rodin, the plaster original resides in the Musée D'Orsay.
