Although Iset was not chosen originally as Chief Wife, she became queen when Ramesses's sons with Nefertari predeceased him and her own sons became crown princes. Khaewaset served for a short time in the army, but is most famous as a priest of Ptah

Although it was Iset's third son Merenptah who would eventually become Pharaoh, Khaemwaset was crown prince for five years before he died. This is the pectoral which was buried with him, currently in the Louvre.
